Jacobs started her acting studies at the age of eight old and took Saturday acting classes at The Pittsburgh Playhouse. Lebanon High School, in the year 2000, Jacobs relocated to New York City New York for a place at her studies at the Juilliard School where she was part in the drama division's group 33. The school awarded her a bachelor's degree in 2004 after graduation in the Lebanon High School.
